About Dhyāna Yoga & Wellness
My name is Diana Byron, RYT and I'm a certified Kripalu Yoga teacher, Herbalist and founder of Dhyāna Yoga & Wellness. I teach from the heart, informed by my own practice and experiences. I was first introduced to meditation in the nineties and in the years that followed, I also gravitated toward different forms of Yoga, holistic healing and goddess spirituality.
After practicing Kripalu yoga regularly for some time, I noticed that it greatly enhanced my meditation practice. This is what inspired me to complete a 200-hour yoga teacher training at Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health in western MA. I enjoy showing others how asana (yoga postures) and pranayama (yogic breathing) can wonderfully prepare the body and mind for meditation.
As an Herbalist, I offer natural wellness consultations, workshops and classes in herbal medicine. My love for for the plants began as a child as I would often play outside in the woods, exploring nature. This love for nature led me to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Salem State University but it wasn't until I became a mother that I felt inspired to study herbalism. After completing an herbal apprenticeship locally, I went on to earn a certificate in Herbalism through Rosemary Gladstar's herbal school, Sage Mountain.
Feel free to reach out to me with any questions or to schedule a consultation or a private class for yourself or your workplace. I look forward to sharing the gifts of Yoga, Meditation and Herbalism with you!
