About the event

Join us for this relaxing retreat in the Connecticut countryside! There will be yoga classes, group meditations, drumming and chanting circles, mindful nature walks and more. We will also spend time in community as women, sharing sacred space. You may find your spirit renewed and leave with some extra tools for mindfulness and resilience against the stresses of everyday life.

We will enjoy healthy, vegetarian meals and snacks with gluten-free and dairy-free options. Yoga classes will be suitable for all levels of experience. Yoga mats and props are provided or feel free to bring your own. There will be a health questionnaire to fill out to ensure that no one is having any symptoms of illness at the time of the retreat.

The Retreat House

We will be staying in a lovely, comfortable and well-equipped home with lots of private outdoor space for yoga and a fire pit for chanting and drumming under the stars. This retreat will take place around the time of a full "super" moon, so this is sure to add some extra magic! The house has lots of privacy and is surrounded by nature. We will have the entire property to ourselves. Photos and details on the house are available upon request.

Those traveling by air will want to fly into Bradley International (Hartford, CT). Depending on your time of arrival, airport pickup and drop off may be available for an extra fee of $45. Please let us know before booking your flight so we can coordinate your arrival time accordingly.

The Facilitator

Diana Byron, RYT 200 is a certified Kripalu yoga teacher, meditation coach and founder of Dhyana Yoga and Wellness. Diana enjoys creating healing and relaxing experiences for others and she offers private and group classes, both online and in our Putnam, CT studio. You can learn more about Diana here.

Cost: $600 per person

Includes lodging for 3 nights, all yoga classes, group meditations, guided nature walks, drumming/chanting circles, all meals and snacks (starting with dinner on the 15th and ending with breakfast on the 18th).
