About the event

The Retreat

Imagine spending an entire weekend immersed in nature, far from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Imagine starting each morning with gentle yoga and meditation, eating delicious vegetarian meals lovingly catered for you, and gazing up at a multitude of stars each night. This soothing retreat is also an opportunity to learn about medicinal plants and how to use them to stay healthy. You will learn how to identify plants in the wild and also do some herbal crafting and medicine-making of your own.

The Retreat Center

Sage Mountain Botanical Sanctuary was founded by herbalist Rosemary Gladstar and family in 1987. Located on 600 acres in central Vermont, it is one of New England’s foremost conservation education centers. We'll be staying in comfortable cabins with shared bathrooms and enjoy delicious vegetarian meals and snacks catered by Sage Mountain using fresh, local and organic ingredients. Read more about the accomodations in their retreat brochure.
