Winter Solstice Candlelight Yoga with Sound Therapy

This gentle, 60-minute yoga class will end with a crystal singing bowl sound therapy relaxation.  Yoga mats are provided or you may bring your own. Spaces are limited and pre-registration required.

What is Sound Therapy?

Sound therapy is the practice of using sound to "re-tune" the body back to its wholeness. Sound has been utilized in various cultures for thousands of years as a tool for connection, communication and even healing. The sounds and vibrations stimulate the body to recreate its own harmonic frequency and help produce the alpha waves that are present within our brains whilst in a state of deep relaxation. Sound journeys are a great way to clean the atmosphere of any negative energy and emotional blockages. They can help with issues such as sleep, stress, anxiety, depression, digestion, energy flow restoration and a perfect opportunity to set new intentions or release any burdens you no longer wish to carry. Various instruments are used including singing bowls, chimes, gong and other instruments.*

*Clients need to consult with their physician and get approval to attend the sessions if they have metal in their bodies, have a pacemaker, insulin pump or other implanted device,  have epilepsy or are in the first 12 weeks of pregnancy.
